Box framing is a term used when thicker items are framed.
This can be anything from a medal which may only
require 1/4 inch depth to a softball bat requiring
three inches. The merriment of box frames is that
they can be any depth and you can use as
many mount boards as you want. The concept
of the box is simple. It is taking art of any form
or size and surrounding it with a custom designed "box",
commonly known as "Shadow Box Framing".
This is because light reflects o on the frame
shed which causes a shadow in the box.
Box framing is also a fabulous gift idea either for the close friend or the visiting investor.
